There are a lot of spiders in Ohio but only poisonous ones are Brown Recluse and Black Widows. A Thorough spider treatment may include a treatment on the exterior, interior, attic, and crawl space. Exterior conditions such as any vegetation, wood piles, stored items, yard clutter, etc. can also allow conducive conditions suitable for spiders. Before we make a recommendation to eliminate a spider problem we will try to determine if Brown Recluse or Black Widow Spiders are present. Once this evaluation is made we will recommend a treatment to best solve your problem.

Garden/ House Spider

Black and yellow garden spiders are found throughout Ohio. They produce a complex web with a distinctive zig-zag pattern in the center. Their diet consists of insects like flies. are most likley to be found in upper corners of rooms in houses under furniture, in closets, or even angles widow frame, basements, and garages. 

Black Widow Spider

Female black widow spiders are easily identifiable, black, abdomen on ventral or underneath side with 2 reddish triangular markings usually joined to form a reddish hourglass-shaped marking. outside, black widows commonly live in protected places among and under stones and pieces of, under decks, in hollow stumps and trees 

Wolf Spider

The common name reflects that these are hunting spiders and will chase their prey. Color usually dark brown, often with paler stripes or markings, or sometimes yellow with dark stripes. theses spiders actively hunt during the night and sometimes during the day they are fast on their feet and pursue their prey. because of theses habits they are commonly seen by people.

Cellar Spider

The common name cellar comes from these spiders being frequently found in dark and damp places such as basements and crawlspaces. Webs from this spider can be found in dark and damp places such as cellars, basements, and crawl spaces. they seem to fare better in areas with higher relative humidity. 

Hobo Spider

Its formerly known as the aggressive house spider. Color variable with light to medium brown, with dark stripe to either side of lighter midline stripe, dark stripe. theses spiders may be found in widow wells, crawlspaces because they are poor climbers.
